Meet Captain Ronnie
Captain Ronnie grew up on these waters, raised in a commercial fishing family and learning the Gulf from the deck of his dad’s shrimp boat. The tides, the seasons, the bite — it’s second nature to him.
Today, he runs Another Fish Charters with that same hands-on mindset, focused on putting families and anglers of all levels on fish while keeping the trip relaxed, fun, and dialed in to what’s biting.
What’s It Like Fishing Orange Beach?
Fishing here is fun and easy — kind of like a day at the beach, just with rods bending.
We launch just minutes from where you’re staying. On the short ride out, you’ll pass waterfront homes, maybe spot dolphins cruising, and sometimes even turtles popping up.
Orange Beach is surrounded by protected bays, passes, grass flats, docks, and rock jetties. That means we don’t have to run far to find fish, and there’s always a good mix of species around.
The Gulf keeps things moving year-round, so we adjust with the seasons. Some trips are perfect for kids and beginners. Others we’ll dial in a little tighter for folks who want to feel that drag sing.
The best part? You’re never far from land, the ride stays comfortable, and there’s always a good shot at steady action.
